Hello everyone! Today we assessed the physical, psychological, and social reasons why people join a violent revolution and participate in encounters that result in destruction of lives and property. We analyzed the idea of mob mentality and predicted the role that it played in events of the French Revolution.
For homework, you are to research a contemporary revolution (one that happened within the last 10 years) and write a 2-paragraph paper responding to the following questions:
1.) Summarize the contemporary revolution (e.g., causes, details, effects).
2.) Compare the contemporary revolution with the French Revolution. How are they similar and/or different? You must provide details about events within the revolution to support your argument.
