Hello everyone! Today we discussed why Europeans began exploring the interior of Africa and claiming territory. We looked at the impact of individuals such as Dr. David Livingstone, Sir Henry Morton Stanley, and King Leopold II on developing these areas.
For homework, you are to read the article I have handed out relating to a specific country that was taken over by a European power.
